The in-house pre-commissioning was successfully completed. This includes both vibration analysis and temperature monitoring during the bearing running-in cycle. This means that nothing stands in the way of the planned installation on the 1-E-PST at the beginning of 2021.
The shaft train consists of an Oswald motor (258 KW | 18,500 1/min | 400 Nm), HBM T40B (500 Nm) measuring flange, metal bellows coupling and an SL 18,500 spindle bearing.
A shaft grounding at the intermediate bearing was also implemented to dissipate any leakage currents that may occur.
