The new installation of a mobile crash block requires intensive coordination of all involved trades already in the early construction phase of a new crash lab. Last week, our service team was in Ingolstadt to install the support structure for the ground anchors of the mobile crash block.
By using tachymeters, a highly precise result could be guaranteed during the position measurement. After positioning, the height level was subsequently measured and meticulously documented.
Additional stiffeners, which were welded in place on site, now ensure that ERNST ground anchors can be placed with millimeter precision when pouring the base plates, so that our crash block, which weighs around 95 tons, can perform its service in 2022.
